Volix M Tablet belongs to a category of medicines known as anti-diabetic drugs. It is a combination of medicines used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. It helps control blood sugar levels in people with diabetes.

Type II diabetes is a chronic medical condition in which the body does not make enough insulin, or the produced insulin does not work well. Symptoms include excessive urination, excessive thirst, hunger, fatigue and blurred vision.

Volix M Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Metformin and Voglibose. Metformin lowers the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Voglibose inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.
